JUST DANCE!!!

I'm not quite sure how it all went so terribly wrong.
           It started out so innocently...

Molly, not to be outdone by her niece's cute
factor, jumped in with a few moves of her own.

Meanwhile, pregnant sister # 2 was all "NO, she didn't!!!"

  You're never too pregnant
    to get your groove on.

And the winner is...

                     Congratulations Molly C.

                               Thanks for playing everyone.

Baking Day

We wanted to give a small token of appreciation
to the AWANA workers who have served so
diligently in the children's program at our
                     church.

Peppermint bark, everyone loves a good
peppermint bark, right?  I had just read a
recipe that morning, and I was dying to try it out.

Surely, I could make this all happen in a day.
I mean, really, it's not like I had anything else
                     going on.

Kids, Hush!! Can't you see I'm baking!

                     Just kidding...I think.

Peppermint! It's all about the peppermint this
time of year. Trust me, I went to 4 separate
grocery stores before I finally scored a bottle of
                     McCormick's PURE peppermint extract.

Layers of peppermint and chocolatey goodness

Seriously, I can't stop eating it.

The mess remains and the treadmill is calling
my name. Maybe tomorrow, but probably not.

                  What's your favorite holiday treat?

Remember, it's not too late to win the giveaway.
The drawing will take place tomorrow afternoon,
right after Laney wakes up from her nap. This
is quite a bit of pressure for a 4 year old.
If you want her in tip top shape for the drawing,
                  a nap is a must!

All you have to do in order to be eligible
is follow me and leave a comment.

                  Thanks, friends

                           paper :)

                                                         Good luck, friends.

Simple Christmas Ornaments

Our tree was looking sad and naked,
so the kids and I decided to make paper
ornaments and dress it up a bit.

                                         Items needed are:
glue gun, scrap booking paper of various
designs, twine, sparkly stickers and a 1 inch
                           circle punch.

First, you must cut out LOTS of paper strips.
Mine measured 4 inches long and 1/2 inch wide.
And...if your 8 month pregnant sister just happens
to be sitting there with nothing else to do, let her
cut them out for you. She'll love you for it.
                Thanks Molly:)

Glue ends of individual strips together to make a
                loop.

With a line of glue, attach the loops to
one another until the circle is complete

                            Cute, right?

Cut out circles with your nifty punch purchased
from Michaels with a 40% off coupon.

Glue the circle onto both the front
and back of the ornament's center and place
on a sparkly sticker. Sparkly stickers
                           purchased at Michaels for $1.99.
                           Have I mentioned I love a bargain?

                   Loop twine into a hanger.
Look, now you have a lovely and simple ornament
                   to hang on the tree.

How will you ever thank me?

Laney, it's cold outside!

I told her to put gloves on...

She didn't listen.
